Food Stylists : Illanique van Aswegen

Accomplished Chef, Entrepreneur and Key Food Stylist Illanique tells us that food, the preparation and presentation thereof, is her absolute passion.  Her zest for and perfection in preparations for stills shoots and television adverts, as well as planning and development of recipes, research of latest food trends, shopping, collecting and arranging of props for shoots makes her a force to be reckoned with.

Whilst studying at and after graduating from City and Guilds and the Institute of Culinary Arts Cum Laude in 2008 Illanique has worked as Chef and Assistant to renowned Restauranteur, Entrepreneur and Stylist Maranda Engelbrecht most recently having worked with Taste, Elle Decoration and Woolworths.  Other assisting projects include the delectable Manna Epicure private functions including that for Li Edelkoort trends seminar held at Runway, assisting Mike Basset, Richard Carstens Phil Alcock, Ian Mancais and Michael Broughton on Taste of Cape Town festival, Woolworths marketing functions, Freeworld at the Arabella Hotel Kleinmond amongst many others.
