Thobeka Mbane is a Creative Director, Visual Arts and African Cultural Fashion Strategist and Fashion Stylist. She was always destined for greatness. Her idiosyncratic approach to styling expands beyond red carpet silhouettes and has beautifully translated across television, advertising, print, social media and has featured in global collaborations.The Mthatha, Eastern Cape-born talent can only be described as a queenmaker, responsible for the personal style of former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi. She has also Styled Sho Madjozi, Nadia Nakai, Moonchild Sanelly, Shudufhadzo Musida, Black Coffee, and Bonang Matheba. With a decade of experience in fashion styling, Mbane is ready for her next best thing. Her idiosyncratic approach to styling expands beyond red carpet silhouettes and has beautifully translated onto television, advertising and stills and has featured in global collaborations. She styled MTV Shuga billboard cover for Netflix’s Blood & Water S3. A highlight of her career is working on the Elsa Majimbo and Valentino children’s illustrated book and more recently her appointment as fashion editor of Previdar.
